What is Morton’s Neuroma?
Morton’s neuroma is a painful condition caused by thickened tissue around a nerve leading to the toes—most often between the third and fourth toes. It’s commonly triggered by irritation, pressure, or repetitive trauma, leading to symptoms such as sharp or burning pain, tingling, numbness, or the feeling of having a pebble in your shoe. Constrictive footwear and high-impact activities can worsen the condition if left unaddressed.
